Ruby Albua Cook, 89, of Searcy, died January 22, 2011. She was born November 9, 1921 in Chandler, Oklahoma to the late Hillis Harm Hale and Capitola Tabor Cook.

Mrs. Cook was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. She was of the Assembly of God faith.

She is survived by three sons, Utah, Ray, and Dee Cook; two daughters, Barbara Duncan and Mildred White; two brothers, Traverse Cook and Melvin Hale; three sisters, Rosetta Luttrell, Mary Lunsford, and Nancy Hurst; twelve grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held Monday, January 24 from 5-7 p.m. at the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Herbert Dry officiating.

Interment will follow in White County Memorial Gardens under the direction of Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
