*When Columbus Newton Cook was born on December 20, 1878, in Edmonson, Kentucky, his father, Martin, was 33 and his mother, Sarah, was 30. He married Sarah Elizabeth Noggle and they had four children together. He then married Sallie E and they had one son together. He also had three sons and one daughter with Sallie E Cook. He died on May 15, 1960, in Rose Bud, Arkansas, at the age of 81.

When Sarah Elizabeth Noggle was born on September 9, 1894, in Tignall, Georgia, her father, William, was 25, and her mother, Elizabeth, was 25. She married Columbus Newton Cook on October 2, 1913, in Quitman, Arkansas. They had four children during their marriage. She died on May 2, 1957, in Rose Bud, Arkansas, at the age of 62.
