PRAIRIE GROVE — Joe Wells, age 57, a resident of Prairie Grove, Ark., passed away Saturday, June 16, 2012, at the Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Ark. Joe was born on Sept. 14, 1954, in Fairmont, W.Va., to Joseph Edward and Peggy Lou (Clayton) Wells.

On Aug. 22, 1981, he married Ann (Jewell) Wells in Tulsa, Okla., and they were married for over 30 years before Joe's death. Joe worked as a computer specialist for the University of Arkansas and he enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, canoeing and making flies for fly fishing. Joe also enjoyed photography and cooking, and spending time with his family.

Preceded in death by his father, Joe is survived by his mother; his wife, Ann Wells of the home; one son, Matthew Lyndon Wells of the home; one daughter, Katie Wells of the home; other relatives and friends.

Private family memorial services will be held.
