December 30, 1938 - June 16, 2017
Wade Rush, son of the late Garland Rush and Peal Carder Rush, was born December 30, 1938 at Red Hill in Melbourne, Arkansas. He departed this life June 16, 2017 in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 78 years, 5 months and 18 days. He spent his life as a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather, provider and friend. During his working years, he worked as a manager and crew foreman in the fruit orchards of Washington state.
He is survived by two children: Arlan Rush of East Wenatchee, Washington and Debbie Haberman of Cashmere, Washington, two sisters: Erma Collier of East Wenatchee, Washington and Melba Blankenship of Melbourne, Arkansas; three grandchildren: Jonathan (Jon) Morrison of Cashmere, Washington, Danielle Morrison of Cashmere, Washington and Shanae Rush Kincannon of East Wenatchee, Washington; two great grandchildren: Maci and Carly Kincannon; two special friends: Herley Morehead of Melbourne and Jim Phipps of Newburg and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside funeral service will be Monday, June 19, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Violet Hill Cemetery under the direction of Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
