J. Matt Rush Dies Suddenly Tuesday
J. Matt Rush died Suddenly at his home here Tuesday night at 7:30. He was an active
Baptist minister and is a native of Izard Count. Mr Rush is the father of nineteen children of which seventeen are living and has over 100 direct descendents.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs Della Rush, ten sons, Albert Rush, Brawley, Calif.,
Allen Rush, Refford Rush and Coy Rush of Melbourne, Ray Rush and Otto Rush of Douglas, Kan., Robert Rush, Hayden and Johnny Grayden Rush of Wenatchee, Wash., and O. T. Rush of the home, seven daughters, Mrs Ethel Hart of Burton, Tex., Mrs Audie Cooper and Mrs Vida Moser of Melbourne, Mrs Willie Mae Hendrix and Mrs Una Vee Barker of Douglas, Kan., Mrs Oveda White of Booneville and Imodene of the home, 63 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were incomplete at press time.
