Terry Wayne Rush Melbourne, Arkansas
Terry Wayne Rush, son of Boyce Rush and the late Delores Stanley Rush, was born September 16, 1958. He departed this life December 19, 2014 in Melbourne, Arkansas at the age of 56 years, 3 months, 3 days. He was united in marriage to Ava Sartin April 15, 1983 in Melbourne, Arkansas and to this union two children were born. He spent his life as a son, brother, nephew, husband, father, uncle, provider and friend. At the time of his death he had been employed by Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department for 29 years as an area maintenance supervisor. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by; his wife of 31 years: Ava Rush of the home; two children: Nick Rush and Nola Rush of Melbourne; his father: Boyce Rush of Calico Rock; four brothers: Mike Rush (Treva) of Melbourne, Butch Rush (Kathryn) of Melbourne, Bo Rush (Kelly) of Calico Rock, and Paul Rush of Melbourne; two sisters: Gayle Gilliland (James) of Dolph and Debbie Sanders of Melbourne; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his mother.
Funeral service will be Monday, December 22 at 10 a.m. at Howard Memorial Funeral Chapel in Melbourne. Burial will be at Combs Cemetery under the direction of Eddie’s Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday, December 21 from 6-8 p.m..
