ARCHIE J. HAWKINS
Archie J. Hawkins, age 78 years, died Wednesday night at his home at Forum. An acute attack of indigestion followed by heart failure was the cause of his death. Funeral services were conducted by Jerry Simpson at the home at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon and interment in the Huntsville Cemetery followed.
Mr. Hawkins was a native of Jackson Co, TN, but had resided in Madison County since he was a small boy. He was a farmer for many years on Kings River near Rockhouse before moving to Huntsville and later to Forum. He is survived by one son, Gordon Hawkins of Huntsville and two daughters, Mrs. Vergie McLain of Forum and Mrs. Stella Keeling of Clifty.
