Mrs. Martha Dell Evans, 63, of Calion died Tuesday night in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 8, 1905 in Norphlet and was a lifelong resident of Union County. Survivors include her husband, Boyd Evans of Calion; a son, A. G. Evans of Calion; a brother, Robert N. Smith of Calion; two sisters, Mrs. Julia Turner of Bay Springs, Miss. and Mrs. T. L. Trosclair of Calion; and a grandson. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Bethel Primitive Baptist Church with the Rev. E. J. Lambert and Rev. M. R. Rainbolt officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery under direction of Rumph Mortuary. The family will be at the Ricky Evans residence in Calion. (El Dorado Times - March 27, 1968)
