Juanita Cook, 64, of Calion, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at her residence.

She was born Feb. 20, 1951, in Calion to Jacob and Samella Harvey Brown. She was a member of Willow Grove Baptist Church in Calion. She was employed with Medical Center of South Arkansas and was a unit clerk.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight E. Cook Sr.; her parents; paternal grandparents, Emanuel and Arnez McGhee; and her maternal grandparents, Sam and Willie Byrd Harvey.

She is survived by two sons, Dwight Cook Jr., of Calion, and Odis Cook, of Dallas, Texas; seven brothers, the Rev. Doyle McGhee, of Calion, Jacob McGhee Jr., and Derrick McGhee, both of Colorado Springs, Colo., Ronnie Brown, Michael Brown, of San Bernadino, Calif., Dennis Brown, of Redlands, Calif., and Patrick Brown, of Charlotte, N.C.; four sisters, Patricia Brown Weatherall, Sheryl Brown and Sharon Brown, all of San Bernadino, and Denise Brown, of Charlotte; a step-father, Gene Brown of Rialto, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. today at Andrews Funeral Home Chapel and from 8 until 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Willow Grove Baptist Church in Calion with the Rev. B. E. Artis officiating.

Burial will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery in El Dorado under the direction of Andrews.
