November 30, 1889 - August 14, 1973
Mrs. Nettie Pickett, 83, of Chidester died Tuesday at a local nursing home. She was the wife of the late W. W. "Bud" Pickett. Survivors include one son, Winfred Pickett of Camden, one brother, the Rev. R. M. Benton of San Antonio; three sisters, Mrs. Fannie M. Glover of Bossier City, La., Miss Katie Benton of Camden and Miss Bessie Benton of Chidester; and two grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Rushing Memorial Methodist Church in Chidester with burial in Chidester Cemetery. The body will lie in state at Camden Funeral Service until the services. (Camden News - August 15, 1973)
