Elsie Bivens age 90 of Quitman died Wednesday April 12, 2006. She was born June 9, 1915 in Greenbrier, Arkansas to the late Andy Johnson and Ellen Jolly Johnson. She was the widow of Herman Bivens, a homemaker, a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church member of Eastern Star and Fairview Home demonstration club.
She was preceded in death by her son Ferron Bivens, two brothers, Ermon and Darius Johnson, grandson, Lloyd Bivens and a granddaughter Christy Bivens.
Services are 10 a.m. Friday at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Guy with burial in Copperas Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier with Bro. Sonny Harvison and Bro. Ed Stephenson officiating
