FALLING SPRINGS — Thelma Pauline Wilmoth, 88, of the Falling Springs community in Benton County died Feb. 6, 2002, at Gravette. She was born Feb. 12, 1913, in Falling Springs to Elzey Larence Ownbey and Lida Lanissa Wilmoth. She was a member of the Falling Springs Church. She was retired from Peterson Industries and was a former cook for the Decatur school system. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Wilmoth.
Survivors include two daughters, Roberta Wilson of Stilwell, Okla., and Phyllis Reed of Decatur; 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Orla and Marvin Ownbey, both of Gentry; five sisters, Nedra Mae Primrose of Tustin, Calif., Loretta Higgins of Bristow, Okla., Nadean Hardcastle of Springdale, Faye Higgins of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Marilyn Cameron of Dana Point, Calif.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Falling Springs Church. Burial will be in Falling Springs Cemetery under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.
