TULSA, Okla. — Loy W. Boyd, age 80 years, passed away Friday, April 18, 2014, in Tulsa, Okla. He was born Oct. 25, 1933, in Crosses, Ark., to parents Milton Boyd and Chloe (Richey) Boyd.
He is predeceased by his parents, three sisters and three brothers.
Loy is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Lynn Boyd of the home in Tulsa; two daughters, Debra Lynn Silver and husband, Mike, of Fort Worth, Texas, Kimberly Ann Kelch and husband, Eddy, of Tulsa, Okla.; three grandchildren, Holly Mabes of Tulsa, Okla., Heather Valdez and husband, Freddy, of Tulsa, Okla., and Matthew Brown and wife, Shelbie, also of Tulsa. He also leaves five great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Loy will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at Moore's Chapel, 206 W. Center St., Fayetteville, Ark.
Funeral services are 1 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 2014, at Moore's Chapel, with burial to follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens, Fayetteville.
