Mrs. J.H. Goodin was born at Cassville, Mo. Feb. 7, 1867 and died at her home in Rogers July 2nd. Mrs. Goodin, who was Miss Ada Walker before her marriage was married to J.T. Hays in 1878. Mr. Hays died in 1903 and in 1912 his widow was married to the late J.H. Goodin. Surviving Mrs. Goodin are her children, Lee, Floyd and Steve Hays, all Muskogee, Roy E. Hays of Sapulpa and Miss Eva Hays and Mrs. Willa Pace of Rogers, all of whom were present at the time of her death. Funeral services were conducted at the home at 2:30 Monday afternoon by Rev. W.H. Andrew of the First Baptist Church. Interment was in Rogers cemetery.

GOODIN, Ada WALKER Hays - Mrs. Ada Goodin died Saturday night at her home on North Second street. Funeral services were held at the home Sunday afternoon at 2:30 and were conducted by Rev. W.H. Andrew of the Baptist church, burial being in the Rogers cemetery. Mrs. Goodin was born at Cassville, Mo. and died at the age of 60 years, four months and 25 days. Her maiden name was Ada Walker and she was married twice, first to J.T. Hays in 1878, who died in 1903, and in 1912 to J.H. Goodin, who died last winter. She is survived by six children, Lee, Floyd and Steve Hays of Muskogee; Foy Hays of Sapulpa; Mrs. Willa Pace and Eva Hays of Rogers. Ed Johnson and wife and John Goodin of Paris, Ark., children of Mr. Goodin were also here for the funeral.
