Roxie Ritchey Grimes Murrell, 94, of Fayetteville, died Wednesday, Nov. 30, 1994, at a Fayetteville nursing center. Born Nov. 12, 1900, in Loudon County, Tenn., the daughter of Samuel Inmon Ritchey and Emma Lowe Ritchey, she moved to this area as a child. She was a homemaker and a member of First Assembly of God in Rogers. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Munce Grimes, and her second husband, John H. Murrell.
Survivors are a son, Frank Grimes of Rogers; a daughter, Mae Ellen Hampton of Fayetteville: a brother, Clyde Ritchey of Rogers; nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will he at 2 p.m. Saturday at Rogers Cemetery, with James E. Huffman officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Callison-Lough Funeral Service in Rogers.
Memorials may be made to the First Assembly of God Church Hispanic Mission, South Dixieland Road and West Oak Street, Rogers 72756.
