GRIMES, James Clifford - James Clifford Grimes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jas. W. Grimes of Rogers, died Saturday in St. John's Hospital, St. Louis, where he had been for a month receiving treatment. The body arrived in Rogers Sunday night and funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the First Baptist church. Services were conducted by Rev. Kline of the Christian church, assisted by Rev. McSpadden of the Presbyterian church and Rev. Austin of the Baptist church. Interment was in the Rogers cemetery. James Clifford Grimes was born at the home on Prairie Creek February 18, 1908 and died December 1, 1923. He was a member of the Sophomore class of Rogers High School and his class attended the funeral in a body. He was a very likable and popular boy and his death is a great grief to the many friends and relatives.
