BERRYVILLE - Era Louise Harp, 91, of Berryville died Nov. 10, 2005 at her home. She was born Sept. 5, 1914 in Newbern, Tenn., to Lee and Edith May Cook Terry. She owned and operated the Eureka Springs Sale Barn, Carroll County livestock Auction in Berryville, and the Farmers Livestock Auction in Springdale. She was a member of the Freeman Heights Baptist Church, a past president of Carroll General Hospital Auxiliary and Carroll County Cattleman's Association. She married Claud William Harp on Oct. 22, 1932. She was preceded in death by her husband.
Survivors include a son, Richard Harp and wife Mary Lou of Berryville; a sister, Shirley Meacham of Brinkley; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Nov. 12 at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville with the Rev. Scott Cox officiating. Burial was in the Sonora Cemetery in Sonora.
