BOWEN, Mary Ellen - Mrs. Mary Ellen Bowen, 72 years old, died at her home on West Cypress street early Sunday following an illness of several weeks. Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon from the First Christian church with the Rev. Oscar Ingold officiating. Burial was in the Rogers cemetery with A.D. Callison in charge. Mrs. Bowen is survived by her husband, Sam T. Bowen; three daughters. Mrs. J.W. Seamster, Rogers, Mrs. Blanche Grevert, Okmulgee, Okla. and Mrs. Emma Baker, St. Louis; and one son, Frank Bowen, Galena, Mo.
