Will A. Holland, 79, prominent citizen of Hindsville, died Oct. 5 at his home. He was born Nov. 26, 1887 in Madison County, the son of William and Georgia Holland.
He was a wellknown farmer and stockman, and a lifelong resident of Madison County.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ollie Holland of the home; two sons, George of Derby, Kan. and Horace of Hindsville; one daughter, Mrs. Ona Welsh of Springdale; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday Oct. 7 in the Brashears Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Huntsville Cemetery.
The services were conducted by Rev. Doyle Anderson.
Pallbearers were Billy Stafford, Bill Sharp, Charles Holcomb, A. C. Boatright, Hugh Holland and Bill Gilbert.

Mrs. Ollie A. Holland, 98, of 1909 Sisco, Springdale, died Jan. 9, 1987 at a Springdale nursing home. She was born Dec. 6, 1888 at Hindsville, Ark., the daughter of George and Kate Homesley Lollar. She was a member of the Caudle Avenue Baptist Church in Springdale and was the widow of Will A. Holland, who preceded her in death on Oct. 5, 1967. Three sons also preceded her in death.
Survivors include one son, George Holland of Wichita, Kan.; one daughter, Mrs. Ona Harvey of Springdale; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 12, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with the Rev. Houston Johnson officiating. Interment was in the Huntsville Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Charles Gibson, Gus Boatright, Luther Neal, Paul Sanders, France Bandeen and Floyd Garrison.
