Floyd Holland, 53, of Route 1, Huntsville died last Thursday in the Springdale Memorial Hospital. He had been in ill health for the past several years.
Mr. Holland was born March 13, 1911 at Ft. Gibson, Okla., the son of Will Holland and Ollie Lollar Holland. He attended the Farmer Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Alma Walker Holland, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Margie Sharp of Huntsville and Mrs. Mary Garrison of Rancho Cordova, Calif.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Will Holland of Hindsville; two brothers, George Holland of Wichita, Kans., and Horace Holland of Hindsville; one sister, Mrs. Ona Welsh of Folsom, Calif., and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Rev. Cecil Garrison conducting. Burial was in the cemetery here.
Pallbearers were: Wayne McChristian, Charles Whorton Jr., Dwayne Watson, Bill Fantinel, Dallis Walker and Carl Hunt.
