George W. Holland, 85, of Wichita died March 15, 2007, in Wichita. He was born Nov. 13, 1921, in Hindsville to Will and Ollie Lollar Holland. He was preceded in death by his wife Jean in 2004.
He was retired from Boeing Aircraft in Wichita as a modification supervisor.
Survivors include his son, Tommy Holland of Springdale; his granddaughter, Emily Holland Carr of Springdale; one daughter, Marcia Holland Morris and husband William Mercer Morris III; two grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Sisco Chapel in Springdale with the Rev. Johnny Sisemore officiating. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. in Huntsville Cemetery.

Laura Jean Holland, 69, of Wichita, Kan., died May 23, 2003, at the Via Christi Regional Medical Center-Saint Joseph Campus in Wichita. She was born February 7, 1934, at Pensacola, Fla., the daughter of Arthur and Pearlee David. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Nicholas David.
Survivors include: her husband, George Holland of the home; one stepson, Tommy Holland of Springdale, Ark.; one stepdaughter, Marcia Morris of Jacksonville, Fla.; her mother, Pearlee David of Pensacola, Fla.; four sisters, Ruby Coxwell, Janice Kolokouris and Hazel Higgins, all of Pensacola, Fla. and Glenda Sundy of Seattle, Wash.; three step grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, May 28, at the Huntsville Cemetery with Rev. Earl Dean Morris officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville.
Pallbearers were David Carr, John Welch, Ivan Butler, Cliff Palikij, Tommy Holland, Mary Garrison and Jason Cooley.
