Floyd Harvey Griggs, 64, Pinacle Star Rt., Elkins, died Feb. 5 in Springdale Memorial Hospital. Born Dec. 18, 1910, at Kingston, he was the son of Loss and Sarah Spencer Griggs.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ella May Walker Griggs of the home; one son, C.L. Griggs, Springdale; two daughters, Mrs. Genevive Bradley and Mrs. Veda Ray, Springdale; three brothers, Jasper Griggs, Castleford, Idaho, Fate Griggs, Jerome, Idaho, and Freeman Griggs, Huntsville; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will, be Friday at 2 p.m. in Brashears Funeral Chapel, Huntsville, with the Rev. Noel Easterling officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Brashears.

Pallbearers will be Corman Griggs, Charles Griggs, Arthur Walker, J. C. Parson, Duane Bradley and Leslie Samuels.

SPRINGDALE — Ella May Griggs, 93, of Springdale died April 6, 2000, at Holland Nursing Center-West in Springdale.

She was born Sept. 24, 1906, in Wharton to Jim and Mary Mandy Lane Walker.

She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Harvey Griggs on Feb. 5, 1975.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, C.L. Griggs and Patsy of Springdale; two daughters and one son-in-law, Gennie Bradley and Bill of Springdale and Veda May Ray of Joplin, Mo.; one brother, Troy Walker of Springdale; two sisters, Luevada Parson and Clorene Samuels, both of Springdale; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville with the Rev. Arthur Nalley officiating.

Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.
