Patsy Ruth Ford
SPRINGDALE — Patsy Ruth "Pat" Ford, 80, of Springdale died Jan. 18, 2009, in Ames, Iowa. She was born March 24, 1928, in Wylie, Texas, to Roy and Bessie Crenshaw Mitchell.
She was a member of First Assembly of God in Springdale and was active in Christian Life Cathedral in Fayetteville. She was owner and operator of Keepsake's Antiques and Flower Shop and taught flower arrangement classes. She enjoyed watercolor painting, gardening and bird-watching.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Griggs.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Ford; a son, Gary Griggs of Story, Iowa; a daughter, Debbie Benson of Lafayette, Ore., and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Sisco Chapel in Springdale, online at www.siscofuneral.com.
The Rev. Bob Fant will officiate. Burial will be in Elm Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
