Clara Perry of Mt. Home died Saturday (July 15, 200) at her residence. She was 82.
Mrs. Perry was born Oct 1, 1917, to Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Martin Southard at Norfork. She married Hurshel F. Perry on May 27, 1940, at Martin Springs and worked as a homemaker. She was a charter member of the First Assembly of God Church of Mt. Home.
She is survived by her husband, Hurshel F. Perry of the home; five sons, Thomas Perry and wife, Edith, of Raytown, MO, Kenneth Perry and wife, June, of Lakeview, Gerald David Perry and wife, Becky, of Mt. Home, Donnie Perry and wife, Gerogiana, of Gassville, and Lonnie Perry and wife, Nora, of San Benito, Texas; one daughter, Glenda Hackeny and husband Cleo, of Hardy; two brothers, Clifton Southard and wife Verna, of Kansas City, MO, and Howard Southard and wife Lanara, of Penesacola, FL; ones sister, Nola Edens of Pomona, CAl nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Perry was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Pearl Southard; brother, Hugh Southard and two sisters, Betty Peters and Opal Gorrell.
Visitation will be 1-9PM. A funeral service will be 10AM Tuesday at First Assembly of God Church in Mt. Home. Burial will be in Galtatia Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the First Assembly of God Church or a charity of choice.
Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
