L. D. Perry was born January 25, 1932, in Calico Rock, Arkansas. He was the son of James and Tabitha Barker Perry. He lived in the Mountain Home area all of his life, worked at Mar-Bax Shirt Company, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was of the Baptist faith. L. D. Perry passed away March 7, 2006, at the age of 74 years, 1 month and 12 days. Survivors: He is survived by two daughters, Sue (Buddy) Nelson of Gainesville, Missouri, and Hazel (Dr. Mark) Ungerank of Mountain Home; son Buster Dale Perry of Mountain Home; two brothers, Carl Perry and Virgil Perry, both of Mountain Home; sister Ann Pittaway of Gassville, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Natalie, Alexis, Malena, Sabrina, Jenny and Melissa; six great-grandchildren, Gage, Tommy, Austin, Makala, Kia and Tony; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son Jim Bob Perry, grandson Bobby Dean Perry, and two sisters. Visitation: Visitation will be from noon until service time on Saturday. Funeral: Funeral Services for L. D. Perry, 74, of Mountain Home will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 11, 2006, at the Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tom Stover officiating. Burial: Burial will be in Arkana Cemetery. Memorials: Memorials may be made to Kindness, Inc. Active Bearers: Jesse Foster, Danny Williams, Danny Hicks, Floyd Williams, Bruce Coy and Randy Coy.
