Mrs. Thelma Davis, 85, of Alma, passed away, Friday, July 10, 2009 in her home.
She was a homemaker and a member of Harmony Baptist Church in Alma, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Paul "Pokey" Davis; a daughter, Barbara Napolitano; a grandson, Steve Kizer; and a son-in-law, Gary Maynard.
She was survived by three daughters, Paula Kizer and her husband Paul of Alma, AR, Karen Maynard of Kibler, AR, and Kay Brown and her husband, Teddy of Alma, AR; three sons, Johnny Davis and his wife Wanda of Alma, AR, Larry Davis and his wife Trudy of Alma, AR, and Ricky Davis of Booneville, AR; two sisters, Agnes Brederick of Fort Smith, AR and Mildred Hughes of Canada; 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral service were held Monday, July 13, 2009 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Dyer Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers were C.L. Dean, Leon Bottoms, Bobby Hammonds, Darrell Ridenoure, Bubba Phillips, and Wally Hudson.
