*Obituary
Sophie Davis, 74 of Van Buren died April 3, 1909 at her home. She died after a lingering illness.
She lived in Van Buren for over 50 years.
She was survived by a son, Henry Meyer, two daughters; Mrs. Charles Pape and Mrs. James Carr.
Funeral services were conducted at the family home by Rev. F.M. Tolleson, Methodist Church and assisted by Rev. J.W. Thompson, Rector of the Episcopal church.
Burial followed at Fairview Cemetery.
