MATHEWS, Mary Elizabeth BAXTER - Died, Saturday, July 20, 1895, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Mathews, at the age of 57 years. Mary Elizabeth Baxter was married to G.W. Mathews in 1865; she was the mother of eight children, five of whom are living. The deceased had been a sufferer for a long time when on Saturday last the Master called to her final resting place. The funeral took place Sunday and the remains were deposited in the Pierce cemetery. Mr. Mathews and family have the sympathy of all in losing the treasure of a home - a mother.
