Randy Wayne Mathews, 54, of Siloam Springs passed away Monday, February 6, 2017 at the Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. Randy was born April 10, 1962 in Tahlequah, OK a son of Clarence Evertt Mathews and Lorene Locust Mathews. He married the love of his life Suzanne Lynette Srader on July 14, 1988 in Springdale, AR. Randy attended Oklahoma State University where earned an Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He worked as a commercial plumber, enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was a great story teller. He was a member of the Bell Baptist Church in Stillwell, OK and had a deep love for his Lord. Randy's greatest love was his family, children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Mathews of the home; one son, Jeffrey David Farmer of Siloam Springs; one daughter Jamie Adams of Siloam Springs; one brother, Terry Lee Mathews and wife Cheryl of Stillwell, OK; two sisters, Leverne Mathews and Diana Mathews both of Westville, OK; seven grandchildren; along with several nieces nephews and a host of friends. He was preceded by his parents and two brothers,Tommy James Mathews and Michael Wayne Mathews. Visitation will be held at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2017 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Chapel on Thursday, Feb 9, 2017 at 2:00pm. Pastor Michael Smith will officiate the service with burial being held at the Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.
