ROGERS — Glen N. Mathews, 81, of Rogers died April 8, 2009, in Rogers. He was born March 27, 1928, in Chillicothe, Texas, to Hulen R. and Ruth Hendrix Mathews.
He retired from Shell Oil CO. as operations manager and was a member of the Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Jean Mathews, on July 18, 2000.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Mathews of Rogers and Rick Mathews of Lowell; a sister, Quidon Preston of Hide-A-Way Lake, Texas; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Martin Cemetery in LaRue.
