ELKINS — Bobbie Ruth Turner, 72, of Elkins died May 8, 2000, at her home.
She was born Jan. 2, 1928, in Anna Rose, Texas to Clyde John and Gladys Kelly Cobb Roberts.
She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Elkins.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Homer Ray Braswell, Glen Carroll, Howard Pollock and Carslin Turner.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Ann Cornelius of the home and Jessie Ruth Frazier of Fayettevllle; six sons, Michael Ray Braswell of Fayetteville and Bobby Jim Braswell, George Allen Braswell, Gary Wayne Braswell, Joe Glen Pollock and Don Richard Pollock, all of Elkins; one brother, John Morgan Clyde Roberts of Mathis, Texas; 21 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at McCord Church with the Rev. Lynville Eaton officiating.
Burial will be in McCord Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Chapel of Fayetteville.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Moore's.
