SPRINGDALE — On Thursday, March 15, 2012, Ross Turner 53, of Springdale, Ark., was called home to his heavenly Father as a result of a traffic accident.
Born Sept. 9, 1958, in Denver, Colo., a son of Royce Turner and Bertha (Autry) Bruce. Ross married Kerri Adair on Sept. 13, 1985, in Limon, Colo. Together they built their home in Springdale and have been blessed with four wonderful children.
Ross is survived by his wife, Kerri Turner of the home; children: Roscoe (22), Alicia (18), Riley (16), and Rhett (13); his mother and stepfather, Bertha and Norman Bruce of Bella Vista, Ark.; his brother and closest friend Rick Turner and his wife Deborah of Centerton, Ark.; his sister Debbi Cohagan and her husband Sam of Bentonville, Ark.; his sister Georgia Railsback and her husband Layne of Brighton, Colo.; grandmother, Tillie Autry of LaJunta, Colo., and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews in Arkansas and Colorado.
He was preceded in death by his father Royce Turner and grandparents; Joe Autry, Wilma and Roscoe Turner, Madeline and Ted Bruce.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 19, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the Cross Church in Springdale. Shane Rhodes and Darrin Rogers will officiate the service.

One Dead In US 412 Accident
A Springdale man died Thursday after he was hit by an armored truck.
Ross Earl Turner, 53, died at 6:35 p.m. at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville after he was airlifted from the accident, according to an Arkansas State Police crash summary.
The driver of the truck, Jack Bland, 24, of Owasso, Okla., was not injured.
Turner, eastbound in a 1991 Dodge pickup, stopped on U.S. 412 about one mike west of the Washington County line and was examining a load in the open trailer he was pulling, according to the summary.
A 2010 International truck, also eastbound, veered off the highway and struck the pickup and the passenger, according to the summary.
Turner lived in Springdale.
