Mart L. Duncan, 81 year old resident of Rt. 4, Siloam Springs, died at 9:50 a.m., Tuesday, April 19, at the Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. Born Nov. 26, 1895 in Delaware County, Okla., he was a life resident. A retired farmer, he was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. Mr. Duncan was the son of Henry and Mattie (Larmon) Duncan.
Survivors include his wife, Edna S. (Cole) Duncan; two sons: Clyde and Ervin Duncan of Siloam Springs; two daughters: Mrs. Audrey Shawver and Mrs. Mary Lucas of Siloam Springs; eighteen grandchidren and twenty-five great-grandchildren; three sisters: Mrs. Grace Spahn of Siloam Springs, Mrs. Dott Richards and Mrs. Jo Fields, both of Kansas City, Mo.
Funeral services for Mr. Duncan were held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 19, in the Memorial Chapel of the Wasson Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Gilmore officiating. Burial was in Oak Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of the Wasson Funeral Home.
