SPRINGDALE-- Charles Otis Cate, 83, of Springdale died Oct. 7, 2006, at Springdale. He was born April 29, 1923, in Fayetteville to Houston H. and Rosa Gertrude Nichols Cate. He attended the First Church of the Nazarene and was a retired service station attendant. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Cate, in 1999.
Survivors include one son, Wendell Cate of Springdale; two grandchildren, Jennifer Cate Alderson and Adrian Cate.
Private services will be held. Cremation arrangements are by Memorial Funeral Home in Springdale.
