MRS. IDA C. CATE
Mrs. Ida C. Cate, 91, of Round Mountain community near Fayetteville, died March 11 in a Fayetteville hospital. Born Sept. 5, 1886, in Fayetteville, she was the daughter of Peter C. and Ida Adair Miller, and was a charter member of Round Mountain Baptist Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Alice Wilson of LaHabra, Calif., Mrs. Ina C. Powell of Long Beach, Calif., Mrs. Madge Swope and Mrs. Julia Oliphant of Fayetteville; three sisters, Mrs. Sally Walker of Fayetteville, Mrs. Jean Hall of LaHabra and Mrs. Stella Wilcoxen of Kansas City, Mo., nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Round
Mountain Baptist Church. Burial will be in Round Mountain Cemetery under direction of Nelson Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Jack, Jerry and Jay Swope, Randy Ferguson, Larry Oliphant and Steve Cox.
