SPRINGDALE - Christopher Devin Cate, 30, of Springdale, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born Jan. 17, 1985 in Fayetteville to Devin Cate and Angie Shannon.
Christopher was an avid Razorback fan. He also liked to fish and listen to music of all kinds.
Survivors include one son, Aiden Cate; two daughters, Adalynn Cate and Alandrea Roberson; his father, Devin Cate and wife Jana of Springdale; his mother, Angie Shannon and husband Todd of Springdale; his grandparents, Blanche Cate, Gloria Jackson-Giles, Earl Cate and Bonnie Lancaster, Max Young and Jeanne Harp; one brother, Mack Cate of Fayetteville; two sisters, Sarah Skelton and husband Bryce and Kelsi Baker of Fayetteville; one step-brother, John Baker of Springdale; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A visitation will take place on Monday, April 27 at Sisco Funeral Chapel from 6 to 8 p.m. in Springdale. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 28 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Kirk Anderson will be officiating. Burial follow at Sonora Cemetery.
