Friday, December 18, 1908
Gordon Marrs, son of S.H. and Flora Marrs, died last Sunday morniing at the age of 1 year, 1 month and nineteen days after an illness of two weeks, the immediate cause of death being pneumonia. The remains were laid to rest in the Springtown cemetery Monday afternoon in the presence of a large concourse of sympathizing friends. Religious services were conducted at the home by the writer and at the cemetery by Rev. Kennedy.
