MARRS, Walter - Mrs. J.L. Chastain was at the home of her sister, Mrs. George Marrs, east of Springtown for a few days during the sickness of their eight months old son, Walter, who fell a victim to the ruthless hand of death about 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 30. The body was laid to rest in the Springtown cemetery about noon Wednesday with services conducted by the writer. We extend condolence to the bereaved family. J.L. Chastain.

MARRS, Florence Opal - {from Fairmount} On Wednesday morning July 21st about five o'clock, death entered the home of George Marrs, east of Springtown, and claimed as his victim little Florence Opal, the twenty months old daughter of George and Emma Marrs. The remains were laid to rest in the Springtown cemetery Wednesday evening with services conducted by the writer. We extend condolence to the bereaved.
