Rogers Democrat

MYERS, J.F. - S.F. Myers of Osage township called at the Democrat office on Saturday and informed us that his brother, J.F. Myers, had died on Wednesday night at his home two miles east of Garfield. He had been ill with pneumonia for about eleven days. Funeral services were held on Friday afternoon at two o'clock at the Reddick schoolhouse and were conducted by Rev. Wm. Taylor. The remains were interred in the Reddick cemetery. Mr. Myers was 36 years old and had resided in the neighborhood of Garfield for about eighteen years. He was married about seventeen years ago to Miss Lizzie Green of Garfield who survives him, as do also their eight children, three sons and five daughters.
