BELLA VISTA — Rickey Lane Myers, 70, of Bella Vista, Ark., passed from this world to his final home with Jesus on Feb. 3, 2019. His loving wife was with him when he took his last breath.
Rick was a longtime resident of Northwest Arkansas to include Centerton, Bentonville and Bella Vista.
Rick was a people person, he loved to visit with everyone and had many tales to tell. He had hobbies galore to include making his own crappie jigs, trout flies, turkey strikers and most recently wood carving. He was an outside, nature loving man.
Singing was always a very special part of his life. He was a member of our church, choir (Bella Vista Community Church) and loved it with all his heart.
He is survived by his loving wife, Connie Lee Sumrall Myers; three stepchildren, Nathan Warren and his wife Bela, Krystal Warren, Richard Buckingham and spouse Carmen Reece; eight grandchildren, Cameron Milligan, Kaylee Warren, Jenna Warren, Evan Reece, Dylan Buckingham, Isabella Warren, Torery Garrison and his wife Mandy, Taylor Garrison; one great granddaughter, Conleigh Garrison; mother-in-law Naomi Sumrall; sister-in-law Nora Kay Coler; brother-in-law Mike Sumrall and his wife Judy; his precious mother, Eileen Myers; two brothers, Milton Myers and his wife Cheryl; Donnie Myers and his wife Donna, and nieces and nephews that meant the world to him.
Visitation is Friday evening, Feb. 8 at Bella Vista Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. A memorial service will be held at our church, Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark., 72714, Monday, Feb. 11 at 2 p.m. with a social/reception following. Officiating is Pastor Dr. Jeff Reed. In lieu of flowers please donate to our church in honor of Rick. Our church is so giving, we help a multitude of people. Online condolences may be made at www.funeralmation.com.
