MELBOURNE - Dona Catherine Clark, 84, of Melbourne died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 1997, in a Melbourne nursing home. Born Sept. 21, 1913, at Stella, she was the daughter of Fred and Jennie Rose Davidson. She was of the Church of Christ faith. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Betty Jo and J.W. Helm of Melbourne; two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Joyce Clark of Melbourne and James and Ruth Ann Clark of Springfield, Mo.; two sisters, Wilma Wiles of Melbourne and Freddie Wooten of Lansing, Mich.; a granddaughter, Ann Helm Twyford of Jacksonville and a grandson, Kevin Clark of Dallas. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Wendell Clark; a sister, Nancy Shafford; and a brother, Walter F. Davidson. The funeral began at 2 p.m. today at the Melbourne Church of Christ with Chuck Crow officiating. Burial was at Melbourne Cemetery under the direction of Howard Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Doyle Watson, Glenn Wiles, Kevin Clark, John Twyford, Gene Helm and Bob Morris.
