Mrs. Orlean Clark, age 96 of Mountain Home passed away Dec. 24, 2009 at Hiram Shaddox Geriatric Center. She was born Nov. 4, 1913 in Piggott , Arkansas to Alfred and Clemie Hardin.

She married William R. Clark on Dec. 23, 1928. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Calico Rock, AR; the VFW Auxiliary and a member of the United Methodist Women. She loved quilting, crocheting, gardening, and was an excellent cook.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Pat and Norris Whitfield of Mountain Home; a son and daughter-in-law James E, and Edna Clark of Baxter Springs, Kansas. Son-in-law, Gene Talbert of Heber Springs; daughter-in-law, Mary Clark of Humansville, MO; sister-in-law-Opal Dailey of Oklahoma City; A brother, Carl Hardin of Risco, Missouri; Nine Grandchildren: Beth (Randy) Tribble of Mountain Home; Jennie (Melvin) Smith of Batesville; Jeannie Kowis of Heber Springs; Trayce Heidner, Linda Smith, Terri Dobbs, all of Kansas; Barbara Fisher of Illinois, Jimmy Clark of Missouri and Sandy Montoya of Kansas; local great grandchildren: Kyle(Kylie) Edmonds, Kayla Edmonds of Mountain Home; Matthew Smith, Haley (Jimmy) Bradford of Batesville and Laura (Brandon) Crisel of Fayetteville, AR ; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband William R. Clark, a son, William R. Clark, Jr, a daughter, Bettye Ann Clark Talbert and a granddaughter, Patrice Whitfield Davidson and a brother, Homer Hardin.

Visitation will be from 12 until 9 PM Tues. Dec. 29 at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6 until 8 PM. A funeral, conducted by Reverend Allen Crum will be 11 AM Wed. Dec. 30, at the First United Methodist Church of Calico Rock. Interment will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery.
