Leonard W. Jones, 56, of Bearden, died Thursday at a Little Rock hospital after a short illness. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Benton Funeral Home Chapel in Fordyce with Rev. W. R. Rogers and the Rev. Charles Jones officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Thornton. Mr. Jones was a truck driver. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Marie Ivey Jones of Bearden; one son, Randy Jones of Bearden; two daughters, Mrs. Debbie Colvert and Mrs. Mary Grace Colvert both of Bearden; his father, Aaron P. Jones of New Orleans, La.; three brothers, Raymond Jones of Glendale, Calif., Robert Jones of New Orleans, La.; and Franklin Jones of Bossier City, La.; three sisters, Mrs. Allien Shultz of El Dorado, Mrs. Jo Ann Crawford of Bossier City, La.,and Mrs. Willie Mae Baker of Houma, La.; and two grandchildren.
