July 12, 1902 - August 21, 1974
Troy James Jones, 72, of 144 North St., died Wednesday in the local hospital after a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Immanuel Baptist Church. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery near Woodbury. The body will be carried home Friday at 4 p.m. under the direction of Proctors Funeral Home. Mr. Jones was a retired security guard at International Paper Co., a Mason and a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Paralee Wooten Jones; one son, Henry S. Jones, of the US Navy in Orlando, Fla.; one daughter, Mrs. Emma Jeff Lindsey, of Ft. Smith; one brother, Henry J. Jones of Houston, Tex., and three grandchildren, Carol, David and Lisa Jones.
