Funeral services for Frank R. Tucker, 84, of Hamburg were held Friday, July 11, at 10 a.m. at Trinity Freewill Baptist Church with the Revs. Mike Hutsell and Pat Wilkerson officiating.
Burial was at Carlock Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Hamburg. Mr. Tucker died Wednesday, July 9, at Ashley Memorial Hospital. A native and lifelong resident of Hamburg, he was a member of Trinity Freewill Baptist Church, worked for the State Forestry Department for 22 years and was a
farmer. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include two daughters, Connie Shelton and Linda Tucker; one brother, Fred Tucker and one sister, Dorthy McCone, all of Hamburg; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Addie Bays Tucker; two daughters, Reba Tucker
and Kathy Harrison; two brothers, John D. and Harry Tucker; and two sisters, Beatrice
Tucker and Corean Yeatman. Pallbearers were Chester Rosen, Roy Rodgers, Rusty Matthews, Robert Shelton, Rusty McCone and Burl Toler.
Memorials may be made to Carlock Cemetery, c/o Mike Bays, 331 Ashley Road 462,
Hamburg, AR 71646.
