Clifton Louis Tucker, age 87 of Crossett, AR, died on Tuesday,
July 31, 2018 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff,
AR. He was born on November 1, 1930 to his parents, Frank
Ingram and Pearl Tucker. He was a Christian man who was
loved by all and a member of Jarvis Chapel Baptist Church.
Clifton was a Hamburg High School graduate of 1949. He was
employed at Chase Bag Co. for 42 ½ years. His hobbies included
gardening, refinishing old furniture and caning of old chairs. He
was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War where he
was stationed in Germany. Clifton Tucker was preceded in
death by his parents, Frank and Pearl Tucker; five brothers,
Billy, James D., Benjamen, Norman and Jack Tucker and two
sisters, Annis Biddles and Virginia Bradbury.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Judy Kaye Burchfield
Tucker of Crossett, AR along with a host of nieces, nephews and
other family members and friends.
Funeral services are 2:00pm on Thursday, August 2 at Jarvis
Chapel Baptist Church in Crossett, AR with Bro. Lloyd Gibbs
officiating. Pallbearers are Harold A. Tucker, Ronny D. Tucker,
Morris Herrington, Timothy A. Tucker, Randall E. Burchfield
and Boyett Goodwin. Honorary Pallbearer is Billy B. Burchfield.
Interment is in Hamburg Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior
to the funeral service, from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.
