Rena Ada Tucker, 94, of Crossett died Monday, December 5, 2011, at Pinewood Health and Rehabilitation. Born on February 15, 1917, in Marsden to the late James H., Sr., and Carrie Agnes Powell DuBose, Mrs. Tucker was a homemaker, loved gospel music and was a member of Jarvis Chapel Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, James Douglas Tucker; two sons, Harold Allen Tucker and wife Nancy and Ronald Dale Tucker; one daughter, Deborah June Ford; one brother, James H. DuBose, Jr.; two sisters, Betty Murphy and Elise Courson, all of Crossett; eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby C. DuBose; four sisters, Marie DuBose, Ollie Ruth Barnett, Oma Smith and Leta Kelley; a daughter-in-law, Faylene Tucker; and a son-in-law, Alan Ford.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m., Thursday, December 8, at Jarvis Chapel Baptist Church with Bros. Lloyd Gibbs and Mike Griffith officiating. Pallbearers were Ron Tucker, Tim Tucker, James Allen Ford, Steve Courson, Danny Courson and Richard Murphy. Honorary pallbearers were Jimmy DuBose, Todd Carter, Morris Herrington, Boyett Goodwin and Owen Carpenter.

Burial followed at the Hamburg Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett. Guest book at www.jones service.com.
