Fred Morrison, 65, Rt. 2, Garfield, died at his home March 5. He was born Feb. 7, 1911 in Glade, Ark., the son of George Washington and Jenny Florence Nichols Morrison. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his widow, Arlene Marler Morrison of the home; six sons, William Henry, Clyde Richard and Bobby Gene, Garfield, Arthur, Allen, Hueneme, Calif., Joe Edward, Tulsa, Zannie Lee with U.S. Navy, Norfolk, Va.; one daughter, Florence Louise Poe, Garfield; one brother, Willie Morrison, Rogers; two sisters, Stella Lapor, Long Beach, Calif., and Ethel High, Atchison, Kan.; 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the Garfield Church of Christ, with burial in Ruddick Cemetery under the direction of Callison Chapel of Rogers.
