MORRISON, Clinton - Clinton Morrison of Sulphur Springs died yesterday morning from the effects of drinking wintergreen extract, said to contain 90 percent alcohol, the day before. An inquest was held today in the presence of Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Joe Beasley and Deputy Sheriff Edgar Fields in the absence of A.D. Callison, county coroner. A jury was impanelled which rendered the following verdict after examining several witnesses. "We, the jury, find that Clinton Morrison came to his death from wintergreen poisoning given him by Frank Burger but not with criminal intent. J.M. Jones, foreman.
