Ervin Walter Hanry, 52, of Route Four, Weatherford, Tex., a former resident of Union County, died in a Weatherford hospital Wednesday at 7 a.m. after an illness of several months. He was a trucker and a logging contractor. Born in Junction City Aug. 25, 1911, Mr. Hanry had lived in Weatherford for the last two and half years. He was a member of the Three Creeks Baptist Church and a veteran of World War II. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mattie Blanche Hanry; a son, Johnny Hanry of Weatherford; a daughter, Marlene Hanry, also of Weatherford; three brothers, Clarence Hanry of Junction City and Graydon Hanry and Gerald Hanry, both of El Dorado; three sisters, Mrs. Raymond Revel of LaWard, Tex. and Mrs. Lee Cheatham and Mrs. Grady Fuller, both of Junction City. The body will be brought to El Dorado Thursday afternoon for funeral services Saturday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery under the direction of Rumph Mortuary.
